- Our Downstairs Apartment is perfect for up to four people and is entirely self contained.
- Our Upstairs Apartment sleeps up to eight guests and is likewise self contained.
- If you have a larger party, book the whole house which accommodates twelve people altogether – or treat it as two separate apartments if you wish, for example if you have two family groups.
Boat trips on the River Bure run several times during the day, or to suit your own timing, boat hire is available.
Horning is, at the same time, both a sleepy country village and also a lively, vibrant waterway and riverboat community with boating holidays at its heart.
Horning is well situated to visit other boating holiday bases such as the famous, nearby Wroxham waterways and boating facilities. Moorings
Moorings are available at The Swan Inn (fee payable), the New Inn (free for patrons), the Ferry Inn (overnight moorings available to patrons) and also at the Ferry Marina. All are subject to availability so it is advisable to book in advance.
Other Attractions
There are picturesque villages all around which you can visit; near at hand in Horning you will find restaurants, pubs, tea shops, galleries and other attractions.
Within easy reach is the BeWilderwood theme park with tree houses and walkways where children and adults alike can have tremendous fun exploring.
There is also the nearby Bure Valley Railway which offers rides for the whole family.
For letting off steam and outdoor pleasure, you will find a recreation ground just a few steps away from Tracara Cottage.
